Mark is usually fully booked months in advance for horse

book your horse in!
Open
Pasture Based
on a property near Glen Innes, we are able to educate your horse on site and
facilitate it them in either open pasture country or in small paddocks.
With rolling
grazing country, rugged forested mountain terrain and three rivers, the property
provides a great environment for the education of horses. Each horse that is trained
here is taken out on the property, gaining education from our stock, unusual encounters
like startled wallabies, and traveling our varied terrain. The
Program It
takes on average three weeks to start and educate your horse. Programs
are tailored according to their individual needs. Mark will not religiously jump
on a horse after 2 days - he will wait until he thinks he has the horses trust
and understanding. Some horses take longer than others. We would rather take the
time to build a firmer foundation than rush a horse through. All
horses will be worked until they are mouthed, can turn and flex and are able to
be ridden in all gaits. They
will
be trained to be able to take a stock whip off their back and will be used to
general farm machinery and dogs. Our
Guarantee If
your horse, after being with us, behaves unsafely we will continue to work with
your horse for no extra cost. You must have come and watched Mark demonstrate
your horses ability before it left our care and you must contact us within four
weeks of having the horse returned. Cost Mark
charges AUD $350.00 + GST per week to educate a horse, which includes the cost
of food. He will take horses for a minimum of 3 weeks for horse starting and on
a per week basis for education. We
only take a maximum of 5 starts simultaneously, helping to give your horse
the quality time it deserves. Your
horses progress and potential will be discussed with you during this time. |
